We really found the best food and moonshine at Art Smith’s Homecomin’ on The Landing, at Disney Springs.
On our first trip to Art Smith’s, we got to sit at the bar and meet a very friendly, knowledgeable bartender who took the time to tell us a little about each drink. My husband, Glenn, was excited to sample the Moonshine we had heard so much about! We tried Rumshine Punch, Blue Hooch, Strawberry Lemonade, Moonshine Margarita and Sweet Tea Shine. I rarely drink but definitely took a chance to sample these. My favorite was the Strawberry Lemonade and Glenn’s was the Blue Hooch!
Woof – some of them were a little strong for me, but my husband loved them all! If you are a moonshine drinker Art Smith’s is a can’t miss! The restaurant atmosphere was lively and bustling, yet still family-friendly, and they also offer outdoor seating.
The Best Food
We had heard about some of the best items to try here, and one of them was the Fried Chicken & Doughnuts. Art’s Famous Fried Chicken is buttermilk brined for 24 hours then fried to perfection.
Our main course was served with two pieces of fried chicken, house made sugar doughnuts, and choice of a side. I went with Creamy Mashed Potatoes and ordered a side of fries.
There is truly something on the menu for everyone in your group – starters, salads, sandwiches and mains, featuring everything from shrimp and grits to ribs, fish, pork and their famous fried chicken. They even offer kids’ meals too!
Our daughter, Alyssa, and I both enjoyed the same main course! Glenn shared ours, and it was plenty of food! We were blown away by the meal- the crispiest, freshest fried chicken paired with sweet, fluffy donuts made for an unforgettable dish that was the perfect win. This is one of the reasons why you’ll keep coming back to Art Smith’s Homecomin’.
Forever Refillable Squeeze Bottle
One of the best discoveries on our visit was the 22 ounce Squeeze bottle, available for $24. Refills are currently $16 for cocktails. Yes, you heard me right. There was a constant stream of guests coming by for drink refills while we were enjoyed our meal.
Moon Shine refills are currently $16, but soda or iced tea is FREE. What a bargain, especially at Disney. Just don’t forget to pack your Squeeze bottle and bring it back with you on your next visit. They serve beer, cocktails, red and white wines and Shine on Tap. Shine flavors are Rum Shine Punch, Blue Hooch, Strawberry Lemonade, Moonshine Margarita and Sweet Tea Shine. Take flight with a taste of all five Shines on Tap for $36! The presentation is beautiful: Strawberry Lemonade with a fresh strawberry, Moonshine Margarita with a lime, Rumshine Punch with an orange peel, Blue Hooch garnished with a purple orchid blossom and Sweet Tea shine topped with a lemon slice. You can enjoy the flight on your own or share it with family and friends!
Reservations
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is open for Brunch on Saturday and Sunday and is open daily for lunch and dinner. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling 1-407-WDW-DINE or in the My Disney Experience app.
