The 30th Anniversary of EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival officially kicked off on March 5th and runs through June 2nd, 2025. This is hands-down one of my favorite festivals – and it’s easy to see why. After the gray days of winter, you get stunning Flower displays, topiaries with serious character and beautiful gardens that smell amazing.

Entrance to Epcot with the new Moana 2 Topiary - Moana, Maui, Heihei, and Pua with an illuminated Spaceship Earth behind it welcomes you to the Festival

As soon as you walk into EPCOT, you’re greeted with the new topiary – Disney’s Moana 2!! Spot all your favorites – Moana, Maui, Heihei, and Pua right at the main entrance – this stunning Topiary and was definitely a busy spot during our visit. Disney PhotoPass photographers are usually hanging out there, but if not you’ll find plenty of fellow guests happy to trade photos.

And that’s just the start. Next, Add in the outdoor kitchens serving up delicious little bites of food and specialty drinks, plus live music with  the Garden Rocks concerts, and you’ve got the most enjoyable time of the year to visit EPCOT.

The Best part??

Since all of this is included with your regular EPCOT admission – no extra ticket needed to enjoy EPCOT’s Flower and Garden. This festival runs for three full months, so you’ve got plenty of time to plan your visit. Therefore spring is the perfect time to be at EPCOT with beautiful weather and so much to explore.

Before you dive in, make sure you pick up the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival passport – it’s your handy guide to all the festival topiaries, gardens and (most importantly) food booths.

Flower & Garden Festival Topiaries

Throughout the park, you’ll find over 70 topiaries and 28 fragrant gardens. They are spread across World Celebration, World Nature and World Discovery, and or course World Showcase. You could spend an entire day enjoying the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival or just enjoy the extra offerings as you enjoy the attractions and all Epcot has to offer. Each topiary is a work of art that represents each character with plants and/or flowers. It’s amazing how much time and love go into bringing these topiaries to life.

Ready to hunt down all the amazing topiaries at this year’s festival? Snap a photo at each one, see how many you can spot, or just have fun marking them off – this is your go – to guide for a little extra festival fun. Use the Festival guide.

Continuing to World Showcase you’ll find even more Topiaries and Gardens throughout the this area. Almost every country has a topiary and or garden.

Dragon

I’ve made a fun one- page checklist you can print or save on your phone so you can mark them off as you explore the park. Trust me it’s super satisfying to check them off as you go! Grab it here

Flower & Garden-Festival Gardens

Disney created a new Inside Out 2 Emotion Garden and it’s the cutest area! Each plant and flower represents a character emotion from the movie. Joy, Sadness, Envy, Anger, Fear, Anxiety, Embarrassment, Ennui, and Envy. Kids and adults alike who are fans of the movies will love finding each of the characters. Take some time to enjoy all the emotions and their connection to nature.

butterfly Landing

Butterfly Landing, located between The Land Pavilion and Imagination Pavilion in The World Nature and World Celebration areas of EPCOT. Such a magical little place to watch butterflies emerge from their chrysalis. Did you know it takes an hour or two to take flight after emerging. Then the butterflies pump fluid into their wings and straighten them before they can fly.

You’ll find this little magical place to take a stroll and enjoy the butterflies as they take off and land on flowers and maybe even you! The kiddos will love spotting the butterflies or watching them emerging from their chrysalis.

Blossoms of Fragrance presented by Scentsy

These beautiful displays of larger than life Butterflies Topiaries are not only beautiful to look at but seemingly take flight above the Scentsy smell stations surrounded by flowers. They are located on the Bridge to World Showcase.

There are six scent stations Glorious Grapefruit, Garden Fresh Gardenias and Hibiscus Sunset, Serene Succulent, Honeysuckle Dew, and Hydrangea Bouquet, and are all part of the Happiness Blooms Collection. Visit each station to savor each of these scents and see which feelings or memories they evoke. Scents always remind me of people and places and this was really fun!

Visit the nearby Scentsy kiosk to bring home a bit of the festival with Fragrance Flowers in these scents!

The Honey Bee-stro Garden

Enjoy the Honey Bee-Stro Garden area while eating some yummy treats from the Honey Bee-Stro Outdoor Kitchen .

The English Tea Garden presented by Twinings®

Explore the English Tea Gardens in the United Kingdom Pavilion. This is a gardeners dream to see all the live plants and herbs used to make all types of tea blends.

Want to learn more…. Stop into The Tea Caddy and you can sign up for a complimentary same-day guided tour. You’ll receive a return time to Tour the English Gardens and learn about the history of Twinings® and Tea as you enjoy the Gardens. This complimentary tour runs during EPCOT’s Flower and Garden festival. At the end of the tour you’ll receive a little goody bag of teas to enjoy at home.

So if you’re looking for a free activity add this to your must do list. Take a self guided tour of the Gardens too! Just pick up a map at The Tea Caddy, enjoy the gardens and you too can receive a little goody bag when done the tour.

The Community Garden

Look for the Community Garden located behind the Connections Eatery. Donald stands over the garden ready to work with his tools and his scowl at the bee on his forehead is comical.

Enjoy the lush gardens full of colorful flowers!

Epcot’s Flower & Garden- all the outdoor kitchens:

One of the best parts of the festival is all the outdoor kitchens – each one serves up small bites and drinks. As you make your way around World Showcase stop at any booths that catch your eye!  Then sample unique festival foods or your favorites that are back again.

Our favorite strategy? Start at the Mexico Pavilion and work your way around toward Canada. That way you hit everything without missing a bite! Want more fun? In Fact if you’re visiting with a group – you can share and sample more dishes without filling up too fast.

Final Thoughts

EPCOT’s 2025 Flower & Garden Festival is, without a doubt, my favorite festival at the Walt Disney World Resort for so many reasons. The gorgeous topiaries transform the park into a colorful wonderland. Equally important to me is exploring the outdoor kitchens and trying new foods – while also enjoying my favorite returning dishes and drinks. It’s a blast singing along to the Garden Rocks Concerts and more. Above all, enjoying these with my family, and on solo trips, is a highlight of my time at Disney as an Annual Passholder.

Additionally, there so much more, you can participate in the Garden Graze, Scavenger Hunts and visit the Children’s Gardens. You can even just take a seat and enjoy the view!

Finally, when planning a trip to Walt Disney World make this festival a priority for you and your family. It will quickly become a favorite and you’ll be sure to return year after year!! Last but not least, if you’re interested in what else the parks have to offer. Check out the Holidays at Disney.
